Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Cheesy Smashed Potatoes

1.Boil Potatoes:

  • Boil potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes until fork-tender.
  • Drain and let them steam dry for 2–3 minutes.

2.Smash & Season:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  • Place potatoes on the sheet and gently smash each one flat with a fork or the bottom of a glass.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3.Bake & Cheese:

  • Roast for 15–20 minutes until crispy and golden.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven for 3–5 minutes to melt.
  • Top with optional chives, bacon bits, or sour cream.
